Atlantic Hockey Media Day Set For Wednesday, Sept. 28

The third annual Atlantic Hockey Association Media Day will take place on Wednesday, September 28 on the campus of Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. The event will be held in the Danielson Room on the third floor of the La Cava Campus Center, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The event will include the announcement of the preseason coaches’ poll by Atlantic Hockey Commissioner Bob DeGregorio, along with the opportunity for coach interviews and a light lunch.
Members of the media that are unable to attend Media Day can participate live via teleconference. Questions can be submitted by either email to drourke@atlantichockeyonline.com or by fax to 781-246-2576 on or before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27. The Atlantic Hockey Association arose when nine institutions joined together on June 30, 2003, to found a new Division-I men’s ice hockey conference. The league currently consists of eight members: American International College, Army, Bentley College, Canisius College, the University of Connecticut, the College of the Holy Cross, Mercyhurst College, and Sacred Heart University. Next season the Air Force Academy and Rochester Institute of Technology will join Atlantic Hockey beginning next season.
