Former Pioneer Signs with CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo

LAREDO, Texas

- The 2006 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks announced today that they have signed forward Mike Reagan. Reagan, 5'7" 170 pounds, played the 2005-06 season in the Quebec Senior League with the Amqui Aces. In 41 games he totaled 32 goals and 38 assists.

"Reagan is small in stature, but big in heart," said Ruskowski. "He is very quick and has a nice goal scoring touch. He set all kinds of records playing for Flin Flon in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. He is a classy young man who wants to be the best he can be, plus he can play center ice or wing."

Prior to playing with Amqui, the 26 year old spent four years playing college hockey at Sacred Heart University. The native of Flin Flon, Manitoba, had 36 goals in 132 college games.

He graduated degree in 2004 with B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing.

In his junior career with the Flin Flon Bombers he played in a franchise record 239 games, scoring 82 goals and dishing out 127 assists. He is the fourth leading scorer in Bomber franchise history and holds the franchise record with five goals in one game. In addition he played in two SJHL All-Star games and participated in the 1999-2000 Viking Cup for Team Saskatchewan.
