Here is the tiebreaker for two or more teams:
1. Points head-to-head...2. Goal differential head-to-head...3.
Conference wins...4. Goal differential – conference
games...5. Goals allowed – conference games...6. Goals scored
– conference games.
If three or more teams are tied and all played the same number of
games against one another, you would use the tiebreaker top to
bottom as a mini-conference. If three or more team are tied and all
played an uneven amount of games, we will use the tiebreaker above,
but break the teams up into a mini-mini-conference. If three teams
are tied and one team played two games against the other two, while
the other two faced each other four times, we will break the teams
that played four times and run the tiebreaker to see who would win
that series. Then take the team that won that tiebreaker and pit
them against the team that they played twice to see who would
garner the higher seed. Then you take the final two teams and run
the tiebreaker again to see who gains the next highest seed.
Air Force: AFA earned on point in the series at Army...Seven of
the 12 combined goals in the series were scored in the third

Force is now 0-5-1 in the last six games at West Point...Jacques
Lamoureux had three points (1-2-3) in the series...Lamoureux has a
four-game point scoring streak (4-3-7)...Andrew Volkening had a
season high 38 saves vs. Army on Friday...Freshman defenseman tie a
career high with two points in the series, a goal on Friday and an
assist on Saturday...Jeff Hajner set a new Academy record by
playing in his 148th consecutive game. Hajner has never missed a
game at AFA. He broke the record of Scott Zwiers, a 2003 grad, who
also never missed a game in his career...The assist was the first
of his career. The goal was his fourth of the season to tie as the
most by a Falcon defenseman this season...Lamoureux is tied for
second in the nation in power play goals (10), 18th in goals per
game (0.61), 20th in the nation in points per game (1.21)...Air
Force faces two of the top teams in the nation in 11th-ranked
Colorado College and third-ranked Denver...Air Force beat Colorado
College last season when they were third in the nation, tying as
the highest ranked team AFA has ever beaten. The win broke a
25-game losing streak to the Tigers. This year’s game is at
the Colorado Springs World Arena, a building that Air Force has
never won in...The last time Denver came to Cadet Ice Arena, AFA
beat the Pioneers, 5-2, in 2008. That win broke a 19-game losing
streak to DU.

Ritter Arena. In Friday’s 4-1 win for RIT, four different
Tigers scored and goalie Jared DeMichiel made 30 saves in the win.
Junior Erik Peterson had a power play goal for Bentley in the third
period, which got the Falcons to within 2-1. RIT though scored just
over three minutes later for a 3-1 lead, and added an empty net
goal in the final seconds for the final margin. The Falcons then
took the second game 5-4. Senior defenseman Bobby Preece scored his
first career hat trick and also assisted on the go-ahead goal. With
the game tied at three in the third period, Preece assisted on
senior Brendan Harrison’s goal 41 seconds in for a 4-3 lead.
Preece then scored his third goal of the game at 7:49 to give
Bentley a 5-3 lead. Preece scored his first two goals in the first
period. The hat trick is the first by a Bentley player since Jeff
Gumaer against Canisius on March 15, 2009. It was also the first
time a Bentley player had four points in a game since Anthony
Canzoneri against UConn on Feb. 15 against UConn. The
Falcons’ win on Saturday was their first at Ritter in more
than three years and was the first win over RIT since Feb. 24,
2007. It also snapped RIT’s nine-game home Atlantic Hockey
winning streak. Bentley will complete its six-game road trip this
weekend against AIC. It will be the first series of the season
between the two teams.
Canisius: Canisius was off this past weekend and now stands in
fifth place of the Atlantic Hockey standings with 20 points. The
Griffs start a key six-game stretch where they went 5-0-1 during
their first run against their three opponents. Canisius plays at
Connecticut this weekend. Earlier in the season, the Griffs took
3-of-4 points in Buffalo, tying in the opener, 4-4, and winning the
finale, 1-0. Despite not playing a game last weekend, junior
forward Cory Conacher continued his climb up the national rankings.
Conacher now leads the country with 1.58 points per game, passing
Massachusetts’ James Marcou, who averages 1.54 points per
game.
Connecticut: The Huskies competed in three games this week,
starting the week off at Princeton in their final non-conference
game of the year. On Monday night, UConn faced off in what would be
a 8-1 loss for the Huskies against their third ECAC opponent of the
season. Dan Naurato recorded the Huskies’ lone goal of the
night, of the shorthanded variety, and was aided by Sean Ambrosie.
The Huskies buckled down for their weekend series with Sacred
Heart, battling to a 4-3 overtime loss on Friday and a 3-2 loss on
Saturday night. On Friday, the Huskies were the first to get on the
board as Justin Hernandez (Farmington Hills, Mich.) recorded his
third goal of the season with some help from Andrew Olson
(Alexandria, Minn.) and Jason Krispel (Cypress, Calif.). Sacred
Heart rebounded scoring two goals before the end of the first to
enter the middle period of play with a one-goal advantage. In the
second, the Huskies tied things up after killing back-to-back
penalties that saw a five-on-three SHU advantage. This time Michael
Coppola (Old Brookville, N.Y.) knocked in the goal for the Huskies
with some assistance from Tom Janosz (Elma, N.Y.) and Chris
Waterstradt (Tulsa, Okla.). SHU took the lead once again before the
end of the period, but in the third the Huskies bounced back as
both Waterstradt and Krispel notched their second points of the
game, Waterstradt on the game-tying goal and Krispel with his
second assist of the night forcing overtime. Just 1:45 into the
overtime period, the Pioneers pressure was too much as SHU went on
to score the game winning goal. On Saturday, SHU was the first team
to get on the board, but on their first shot on goal of the night
the Huskies tied things up at one-all. Hernandez recorded the first
UConn goal of the game for the second-straight night as Janosz
aided for the second game in a row as well. SHU went ahead in the
second period but the Huskies battled in the third to tie
everything up at two as Sean Ambrosie (Moorhead, Minn.) recorded
his team leading sixth goal of the year with some help from
Marcello Ranallo (Burnaby, B.C.) and Waterstradt. But at the end of
the third, just one second after the Huskies killed off a Sacred
Heart power play, the Pioneers knocked in the game-winner. Over the
course of the weekend, Garrett Bartus (St. Charles, Ill.) made 59
saves for the Huskies recording a .894 save percentage.

the following afternoon. Goaltender Jared DeMichiel’s jersey
sold for a team-high $500.01. All monies raised will go to the
Lipton Cancer Center at Rochester General Hospital. In total, the

Pioneers held 2-1 and 3-2 advantages before the Huskies forced the
game into the extra session...SHU would get the win on Erik
Boisvert’s eighth goal of the season as he banked a shot off
the shoulder off the UConn goaltender 1:45 into overtime...Sacred
Heart would earn the series sweep Saturday night thanks largely to
