Atlantic Hockey Player of the Month

 

Cory Conacher - Canisius

Junior, Forward, Burlington, Ontario

Conacher led the Griffs during the month of November, posting 13 points, eight goals, five assists and four power-play tallies. The junior had four multi-point games during the month and finished by scoring in a career-best four-consecutive games. Conacher’s 12 goals for the season are tied for the most in the country this season. He also ranks fourth nationally with 0.86 goals per game and 16th with 1.36 points per game. Through just 14 games this season, Conacher has already matched career highs in goals and power play goals (four).

Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Month

  Andrew Volkening - Air Force

Senior, Goaltender, Genoa, Ill.

After an 0-4 start to the season, he led Air Force to the nation's third-longest (active) unbeaten streak with a 4-0-3 record ... Allowed just nine goals in seven games in November ... Five of the seven games were on the road ... All seven were league games ... His 100th career game was a 3-0 win over Bentley, Nov. 7 ... The shutout was the 12th of his career ... His next start was another shutout, a 1-0 win at Holy Cross ... His shutout streak of 182 consecutive scoreless minutes was the third-longest of his career ... He was named the AHA Goalie of the Week, Nov. 17, after leading Air Force to three points at Holy Cross and allowing just two goals in 125 minutes.

Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month

  Brett Hartung - Bentley

Freshman, Forward, Tallahassee, Fla.

Hartung led Bentley in goals during the month of November with four. He also tallied two assists and was tied for second on the team in points for the month with six. His best game of the month came on Nov. 21 against Army, when his two second period goals helped the Falcons defeat Army 4-3. He also scored a short handed goal in the first game of the series, and was named Atlantic Hockey Freshman of the Week.
