Atlantic Hockey Player of the Month | ||
| Dan Ringwald -
R.I.T. Senior, Defenseman, Oakville, Ontario Ringwald recorded three goals and six assists for nine points in seven October games, second on the squad. After being held scoreless in the first two games, Ringwald ended the month on a five-game point scoring streak. On Oct. 30, Ringwald dished out three assists in a 6-2 win over Connecticut. The following evening, Ringwald became the first Tiger to record a natural hat-trick, and score three goals in a period at the Division I level. He potted three consecutive first period goals in a 7-0 win over Connecticut. It was Ringwald’s first collegiate hat-trick, and RIT’s fifth in five seasons at the Division I level. Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Month | ||
| Thomas Tysowsky - Holy
Cross Freshman, Goaltender, Amherst, N.Y. Tysowsky had an outstanding month as he started five of six games and earned his first two collegiate wins. He made 125 saves and allowed 12 goals. His 2.39 goals against average ranks second around the league and his .912 save percentage is third. Tysowsky was named the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week on Oct. 19 as he made his collegiate debut. He made 25 saves and allowed two goals for a .926 save percentage as the Crusaders fell to Merrimack (Oct. 16), 3-1. On Oct. 24-25, he earned two victories as Holy Cross won both road contests against Canisius, 3-2. He made 51 saves and allowed four goals. Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month | ||
| Adam Pleskach - American International Freshman, Forward, Beausejour, Manitoba Pleskach scored a least one goal in three of his first four starts, with a career-high two goals in a 3-2 loss to Rensselaer. In a weekend series against Union and Rensselaer, Pleskach had a hand in all four goals the Yellow Jackets score as he notched three goals and an assist.
