Former Crusaders Sheen and Znutas sign professional contracts

WORCESTER, Mass. – Everett Sheen (Lethbridge, Alberta) and Mark Znutas (Emerson, N.J.), who were members of the Holy Cross graduating class of 2011, have signed professional hockey contracts. Sheen has signed with the Reading Royals of the ECHL. Reading is an affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins, and the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. Znutas agreed to a contract with the Bloomington Blaze of the Central Hockey League (CHL).
Znutas played in 145 career games which are third all-time at Holy Cross. For his career he had 15 goals and 40 assists for 55 points. As a freshman he was named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie team as he recorded six goals and nine assists for 15 points. As a sophomore he tallied a career-best 16 points with four goals and 12 assists. As a senior he played in 37 contests with five goals and seven assists for 12 points. He was also a four-time member of the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team.
