Black Knights Look for Revenge Saturday in Northford, Conn

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Chris White and Aaron Ludwig each scored a goal and Jamie Holden stopped all 31 shots he faced as visiting Quinnipiac downed Army, 2-0, Friday night at Tate Rink. The Bobcats improve to 9-9-2 overall and 6-2-2 in Atlantic Hockey, while the Black Knights fall to 8-9-3 overall and 3-7-3 in the league.

Army goaltender Brad Roberts made 34 saves in a valiant effort between the pipes. White put the visitors on top in the first period at the 12:46 mark when he blast from the blue line found its way through a screen on the power play and caught the upper right-hand corner of the net.

Ludwig added to that margin at 13:14 of the second period when he slammed in a rebound standing on the right post after Roberts had made the initial save of a Rob Hammel shot from the left faceoff circle.

The Black Knights and Bobcats faceoff again Saturday night at the Northford Ice Pavilion at 7 p.m.
